| heartguard pills up to 25lbs I was searching through past posts but all I could find was that everyone has preferences about what they use. Thats not my question. The only thing I have access to is HeartGuard. It says its up to 25 lbs but she's a measly 4.4lbs. Do I give her the entire pill or cut it in half? What do you guys do?

| Give the whole thing. The medicine is injected into the beef chew and isn't evenly distributed without. I know you said this is all you have access to but if you can order Interceptor online, the pill is for 2-10 pounds.

| Give the whole thing...by cutting it, you might get one half with all the medicine and one half with none, which would offer no protection at all.

| The Heartguard breaks apart easily. They love the taste of it....I just use it as an extra special treat. My lil guy goes crazy for it and he has been on it once a month since he was 2.5 lbs.....the entire pill. They do need to get the whole pill for the reasons stated above. It's all good.
