Do Yorkie Puppies lose hair?!?!?!?! HELP! My 3.5 month old yorkie has a lot of hair. Just today after I gave him a bath I brushed him and a bunch of hair was coming out. Even with all that he has a alottt of hair still on him. Do puppies shed their baby hair to have the adult hair come in!?? PLEASE HELP!!!! Oh and he is acting the same as always.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hmmmm, not really. They may lose a bit just naturally, however.

If you don't brush and comb regularly a lot may come out when you give a bath. Yorkies don't shed but when brushing and combing you will get hair in the brush

My puppy sheded some of her hair, especially her boots (hair on legs and feet) I had her checked at the Vet...all is well, my Vet suggested fish oil, as well as many members here, so i'm trying this now. Her hair is growing slow, but I have notice her coats looks much better. Her coloring is also changing, so I believe there is a transitioning period for some yorkies.

His coat is like mostly black and a slight brown color. He's on the dark side. I guess I don't brush his hair often. His coat isnt thin or anything even after I brushed him so maybe i shouldnt worry? Because he's acting as happy, hyper, and needy as ever!
