| Pink Eye and Diarrhea-we can't sleep! We can't sleep! Milli keeps getting up to potty, only she doesn't really have to go, so she just walks around the room. She's scratching too, I'm not sure if she's bored or if she has pink-eye like Emma does now too? I tried to get some drops in Milli's eyes just in case, but she won't let me put them in-she's scared of the drops and not brave like Emma. And Emma hears Milli get up and scratch, so then she scratches her eye! I keep stopping her, but I'm sure it itches like crazy. It looks better than it did yesterday morning which is a good sign. Emma's sleeping on the couch next to me now in the office-Milli's still in our bedroom with DH who is sleeping. I swear he could sleep through anything! I'm worried about Milli that she still has diarrhea, she's had 2 loose poops and 3 watery ones since yesterday morning-her last bout was around 12:45 this morning-TMI and gross, but we woke up because she was making this awful farting noise and she made liquid poo on the pad. At least she's making it to the pad I tried squirting water into her mouth, but she's having none of that-I got her to drink some water by dipping my fingers in a glass and she will lick it off, but that's it. She doesn't seem weak at all, but I don't want her to get dehydrated. I am going to run out and get her some canned pumpkin first thing in the morning...maybe some pedialyte too. I don't know what else to do for them...they're driving me nuts and I can't sleep I think it's part of being a yorkie mommy-when they're sick I want to take care of them, and I wake up each time they do, but I don't know what else I can do. We're all exhausted. On top of it all, now MY eyes itch-I am getting a cold complete with runny nose & sore throat, so I'm wondering if that's the cause of my own itchy watery eyes, or if I now have their bug from taking care of them? Tomorrow (Today) is our 2nd anniversary, and we have a fun day planned, both of us are off work to celebrate. If I don't get some sleep, it's not going to be a fun day for anyone

| I am so sorry! I hope you can get some sleep so you can enjoy your anniversary. Happy anniversary by the way! I am so sorry about the girls being sick. Since he thinks the pink-eye is allergy based, did he say anything about Benadryl? Maybe a doggie dose of baby Benadryl will help with itching and let them sleep? I would call and ask an emergency vet first though to make sure it won't react with the eye drops they are on. Hugs!

| Happy Anniversary!! Hope ya'll get to enjoy it a bit,,, and sorry your babies are not well,,,last August Daisy had a weepy eye one day,, just made my eyes water to look at her,, i thought maybe Cricket had scratched it when they were playing or something,, then thought maybe she'd gotten some thing in it,, next morning it was matted shut when we got up,, i wet a paper towel with warm water ,, got it cleared and open,, but it looked like pinkeye or something,, i called the Vet as soon as they opened @ 7 am,, set her up an appointment for later that morning,, we took her in and he did a Fluorescin eye stain to make sure there was no damage to her eye and nothing in her eye,, it was all good,, no damage. But he gave us eye drops,, Neo-Polymixin-Dex Opht Sol 5ml which we put in her eye twice a day for 2 weeks (I think it was for 2 weeks),,it helped immediately,, then about a week later,, it looked slightly irritated again,, we again used the drops for several days and its been fine ever since,, Best of Luck!

| Thanks everyone for your kind words-I finally got a couple hours of sleep. Then I still got up early, went to the store for some canned pumpkin & pedialyte, plus stuff for a steak & eggs breakfast for DH (it's my anniversary tradition). Milli has had about 4 oz. of pedialyte and a little canned pumpkin, and is doing better than she was during the night. Emma's eye looks a little better than yesterday-so we're improving

| Yesterday Emma got the runs from her antibiotic...a little canned pumpkin cleared that up right away! I will NEVER again not have some pumpkin in the cupboard!!! I froze the rest in small containers for future upset tummies. Today, everyone's better-Emma's eye is looking better, but still needs a couple days to heal up completely. It's looking a little scabby-I think where she kept itching it got a little raw but at least then I know it's healing. Milli's back to her normal self Thanks again everyone!
