Donating YT 30K Club Member | I wish!!! Mine are all chow hounds. Although Cali was such a picky eater as a puppy and I had to give her Cesars (bad dog food) and chicken to get her to eat. Once she was spayed she completely changed and loved any food I gave her. Hopefully your baby will take more interest in food soon.

| Some puppies are very picky eaters but I would be concerned with her being thin. Have you had blood work done on her to make sure she does not have a liver shunt? What kind of food is she on now? Has she had any blood sugar problems? I have a 6 month old tiny boy that was being a picky eater but he was having blood sugar problems. About two weeks ago I bought some K-9 Bluelite from Revival Animal Health Products and I started leaving out a small bowl of this for him to drink and it is amazing how his energy level has picked up. He was also having problems with constipation so twice a day I take a little canned pumpkin and mix it with some sweet potato and turkey baby food (comes in a little jar together) and a tiny bit of Karo syrup and I let him lick it off my finger. He loves it. He also eats Canidae dry food. I wish you luck with your little girl. |
