| I just got Tucker neutered... I took my baby to get neutered yesterday and after the surgery, he came home and was a bit sad (hiding under the couch, laying in his crate all day), which I expected. I've heard many people say that the day after surgery, their yorkie is back to normal. But today, he's the same way. He seems so depressed and I was just wondering if this is usual and if you guys think anything is wrong. I'm just going to wait it out, but I miss my fun-loving and happy little fella.

| If it would make you feel better you could always put a call into your vets office. Im sure that Tucker is probably just tired........come on, he just had his @#alls cut off! I guess I would be sad too if I was a male! I bet by tomorrow he will be feeling great!

| He's probably still a little tired from the anaesthesia. Some bounce back the next day and some take 3-4 days before they are completely back to normal. He may be a little sore as well. He should be back to normal in no time. I promise you that he doesn't know or care that he lost his testicles.

| He would want him to pee within about 16 hours of surgery. Pooping may take a couple days. Some just don't bounce back as fast as others. Did they give you pain med? Are his gums pink?

| He has already peed and pooped, so there aren't any problems with that. And no, they didn't give me any pain meds for him. I also forgot to mention that he got 3 teeth extracted as well.. But yes, his gums are pink.. It also looks to me like he's bleeding underneath his skin. I think I might have to call the vet.

| I hope Tucker is alright....My first male was up and around the next day but the second one wasn't himself for a couple of days....He had pain medication but he was still whimpering, it nearly broke my heart, all I could do was lay next to him and talk baby talk to him... Let us know how Tucker is doing......Poor baby......I just noticed your location your not to far from me.....

| Our little baby was tired for a day or two, but then back to his old playful self. I am surprised the doc did not give some pain meds... really helped with Bear, who was in a lot of pain for a couple days. It can be to your benefit if he is still tired because he wont be running up and dwn . Poor little guy... he had 3 teeth pulled too. At least he has his mommy to make him feel better. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | It took my Teddy a few days to return to his normal self. Some just take longer than others.

| woops... not very specific.. meant to say that it can rip open the stitches if they are really active too soon, so him wanting to just relax xould help the healing process, but if, after a few days, you arent seeing a steady improvement, I'd call the vet. |
