| Is this good for our babies?? Is this recipe good, as it calls for baby food in it.. And I have read that baby food is not good for our furbabies...? I know wheat germ is not good either.. Pet Cookies Submitted by: Sue Peters Rated: 4 out of 5 by 49 members Yields: 12 servings "Cookies for dogs and cats." INGREDIENTS: 2 cups wheat germ 3 (2.5 ounce) jars strained chicken baby food 1 tablespoon water DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. In a medium bowl, mix the wheat germ, baby food, and water together. Add more water if necessary to form a dough. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with a fork dipped in water. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven. |

| I don't know about the recipe, but my vet said to make sure that the baby food you use for anything does not have onion powder.

| Wow! It looks nice and easy. Would love to know how your babies like them. |
