I haven't posted here in a while but I have a question. My Dega has been icthing really bad. Both of my dogs just got groomed last week. I asked the groomer to use the oatmeal or medicated shampoo. But Dega is still icthing bad. Is there something the I can use to help with all the itching??

LOL, "what are you feeding" is the first thing I ask when I hearing "itching".

You might check around and find what is called Relief Spray, as it works great.

My vet put Stella on Relief shampoo and spray...if you cannot locate it locally you may want to check out this link

He's not flacky. just icthing. He's is eating pedigree and royal canin yorkie.

I've read that royal canin causes the itchies, but I'm not 100% sure on that info, but I read it somewhere. My puppy eats royal canin puppy 33 and he's fine, but I've real that RC causes itchies.

If I'm wrong please correct me lol I'm such a newbie

It sounds like food allergies and these foods will cause it.

Royal Canin made my Yorkie verrrrrrry itchy.

Can you feed something like Wellness or Canidae instead?
If it is the food causing it and you switch, the symptoms might not go away for sixty days.
Where is Dega scratching (ears, sides, jaws)?

Stannie actually stopped itching and scratching when I started him on Solid Gold. All natural. He sucks it down like the little "piggy boy" that he is. And he has gained almost 1.5 lbs, from a low of 3 lbs at 10 yrs of age.
I also bath him with 8 in 1 coal tar medicated shampoo. He seems to love it, although he goes around for a time smelling like a "piggy pine tree".
I love my little piggy boy Stannie Fannie.
God, am I becoming a small dog person now?
