| I believe Interceptor is chewable. It is fine to mash it. I just put Ellie's in her throat or in a piece of food.

| Have you tried a pill gun? I don't think it has to be chewed... Ellie has never chewed hers.

| The stuff I use you just put it on there back like you do there flea stuff. It is an all in one flea & heartgaurd. My vet sells it. Some vets will sell it one by one. My vet does this to know we are on the meds. I talked to him last week and he told me the shot is going to come back but it is going to be a once a year thing. That will be so cool. He said they already have it in the UK. I tried all the dif pill kind but Muffy is so picky she wont eat anything. I tried to shove it down her and I found it later. I hope this helps.

| We use Interceptor, which works for all other worms as well...even though it is a heartworm med. We always put the pill (which is very tiny) in a chewy treat or pice of boiled chicken, etc. We always watch to make sure it is swallowed and they have never spit it up. I think you can only get these from the vet. When we had our Shih-tzu (many many years ago), we used Heartguard and I liked that it was a soft chew like treat! But my vet doesn't carry that. --but Interceptor works well for us.
