How much should my pup eat

Hello I am new to this forum

I have a five month old Yorkie mix and am wondering about how much she should be eating. When we brought her home she was on Nutro but now that I have done some research I see Nutro isn't the best. We are in the process of switching her to Orijen puppy. Regardless of the food she doesn't seem to eat very much. I would say she might eat half a cup a day.

She does get training treats but not much else really. She is active and healthy so I am not to worried but I am just curious as to how much other Yorkies eat.

According to the dog food bag my golden should eat +6 cups of kibble a day. If I feed him that much he would be fat as a house. My yorkie should eat +2 cups. The directions on the bag are a recommenation/guideline with some dogs eating more or less. If your dog appears to be a healthy weight for them then let it be.

Nutro is not a good food..But orijen is an excellent food. My girls love the Orijen food! I think each of my girls eat about 1/4 cup of kibbles a day. that's a normal portion for them since their stomach is actually really small and we shouldn't over feed them. When i give them their raw medallion, they both each get one for breakfast and one for dinner. they are both at the healthy weight and as healthy and energized as they can be..
