| Soybeans are probably a good veggie for your yorkie, however, some foods with soy can cause gas in our furbabies. As long as you don't have a problem with him having gas, the food should be fine! Make sure he gets the unsalted/seasoned ones!

no, he seems not to have gas ,and yes i give him the unsalted ones just like you said . i give him about 15 soybeans once a day. he just loves them and it makes him gobble his food down. i happen to love them too.

My two furkids love them too!!! I was eating them one night while watching t.v. and I dropped one and Ceasar got to it so fast...and that started it. They would do all their tricks so fast and so good just for that treat. They love other fruits and veggies too like cubed carrots, apples (peeled), Pear (peeled), oranges.

I've wondered about feeding them to Punkin for two reasons: 1.) the possibility that soy may cause an increase cancer risk in some humans. I think the jury is still out on this, but wondering if the same could be true for dogs. 2.) Many of the high quality dog foods boast that they are soy free. It all gets so confusing ....what to feed and what not to feed.

oh gee, i thought soy was so good for you. i was eating soybeans like crazy, besides the fact they are so tasty. now i have to worry about this now. you are right, it is all confusing. i have him on a homecooked diet and he finally likes these. i tried to give him carrots and apples, but no good. he will not eat them at all.
