| My vet told me to add meat tenderizer to her food to cure this problem. Has anyone tried this? |

My furkids Donating Member | I have heard using meat tenderizer but, IMO, it would be kinda of salty for them...

| I just put about 2 tablespoons worth of the pineapple juice in with their food. It worked, and left them smelling all fruity! |

| I'm guessing the reason for the meat tenderizer is that it has enzymes in it that break down the food. Perhaps the reason that they eat the poop is that it is not completely digested and the enzymes in the Meat Tenderizer help it to digest completely. But as someone else said. they do outgrow it. |
