| Max had to go to vet again today :( Yesterday the poor little guy started scratching his ears and shaking his head he was up most of the night he was miserable and he also had been scratching his body since i got him but after reading many post i thought it was the corn in his dogfood so i switched and gave him baths which seemed to help just a little but anyways i got him into the vet today and they checked his ears and said they could not find any earmites at all but that his ears were very gunky and they tried to clean it but there was to much hair so they had to remove the hair and he cried it hurt him well after removing all the nasty stuff they took him back and flushed his ears out and the doc comes walking back and says this little guy has lice i am like what no way how! Then i ask can humans get it what about other dogs? Well he said no not as long we clean ourselves and take baths everyday so thank god were all safe but yes other dogs and cats can get it super easy he said it is to them like head lice is to humans. So he gave me shampoo to wash all the animals in and also frontline for all the animals and even though they saw no mites they wanted to treat him for them just in case. so i came home bathed him gave him his ear drops and put on his frontline and the little guy fell asleep and slept forever it seemed like but now that he is awake he isn't scratching or whining it is awesome he is a changed dog!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Awww, poor little guy! I'm so glad you took him in and found out what was wrong! Geeze, he was probably exhausted from not being able to sleep for all the itching! Hope you get rid of ALL the creepy crawlies!

| I had never heard of it either so strange now i am trying to figure out where in the world he could have gotten it from we have only taken him to the vet and petsmart. And none of the other dogs or cats have it even though they are being treated to prevent from getting it now. |
