| My baby's ears not up yet...?? I really am not bothered whether they stand or not as they suit him as they are ..(the tip down!) ...I am only curious..he is just 5 months old ..he sleeps and his ears are upright but it's the only time they are!! From experience (and without help, as I will leave it to nature!!) ...have you ever found ears to still stand at this late age?? |

| Are you keeping the ears shaved? Sometimes taping them will help. I have seen Yorkie ears come up as late as 6 month. This is a great website on how to tape the ears :http://members.cox.net/jrogan/ears.html Good luck. |

| I've had their ears go straight up and stay there as early as 3 weeks old and as old as 6 months.

| I believe it's normal for ears to go up and down during the teething stage (I believe that is well past 5 months) So I wouldn't be surprised if you notice them going up and down a lot. If your dog has thicker hair like mine and you don't shave the tips, there's a better chance they will stay down. I love down ears, and when just the tips are down I think it's even more cute!!!
