LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | I am very scared and need your prayers please I just phoned the vet and made an appointment to have Pheoebe done(spayed), but I am so nervous. She will be going in tomorrow morning at 9.I though I might as well do it now, before the baby comes so I can take care of her properly. Can you please say a little prayer for her to be ok. She has never been away from us and we are just worrying sick.

| My prayers go out to Pheoebe for a safe and quick recovery. Try not to worry. I'm sure she will do just fine.

| It's perfectly normal to be nervous! The best thing you can do is keep yourself busy while she's away, you'll get a lot done and you can focus on her and a speedy recovery once she's home! I'll be praying that all goes well!

| Your family will be in my prayers. I know how hard it is to have to leave one at the vet. Phoebe will be home back to her old self before you know it. |

| I am nervous today too, my Lacey is at the vet right now for her spay. She is my retired 5 year old maltese and is sweet as pie. Today will really be hard waiting until 4:00 to go get her. Please say a little prayer for her. |

| Perhaps another way of looking at things could be to know that by spaying Phoebe, you may be saving her life and preventing her from painful ailments in the future. A little while ago I adopted a sweet, older female Yorkie named Annie. Because she had not been spayed she had many health issues including mammary cancer, a severe uterine infection and two large tumours in her stomach. The vet told me the mammary cancer and uterine infection were caused directly by her previous owners not spaying her. The tumours may have also been affected indirectly. You can see photographs of these horrific conditions below. Annie died as a result of these ailments on December 17, 2007. When you drop off Phoebe, please know that the surgery may prevent her from developing these ailments. Having her spayed is a very good thing. Warm Regards, Jamie |

| i am praying for you..don't worry, i was a nervous wrack when my girls went in for spaying. Tumi was really tiny still but i picked her up the same day since i didn't want to leave her overnight there. By the time, it was around 7pm, she was back to her normal bouncy self. the hard part was trying to keep her not to jump and play so hard...Same thing with Gracie. i was crying while they were in surgery and my hubby thought i was having a nervous breakdown.

| scared and in need of prayers Hi, My Jazzie to me is small, I was worried about getting her spayed. I post poned it & even canceled an appointment. Finally I got my nerve up and took her in, I picked her up the same day, she slept all evening, went potty, ate a bit, more sleeping. The next day she was rrrreadyyy to playyy! I could not believe my eyes. I know if I'd had a hysterectomy, I would not bounce back that quick! Wooowww!! So take it easy, they bounce back fast and with all the YTERS praying, your baby will be Okidoky.
