| I'm thinking about a Raw Diet for Pixie... She will be 7 months old on the 4th january. I know NOTHING about giving a Raw Diet...all i know is ALOT of people have good things to say about it and have seen good results! At the moment i am feeding pixie scrambled eggs and a drink of goats milk for breakfast. snacks during the day could be apple, carrot, yoghurt, cheese. Dinner is Royal Canin canned chicken & Rice mixed with RC kibble. Supper is some cooked chicken breast. What do you think of her diet as it is at the moment? She is happy and healthy and has a very good apetite for such a teeny thing! Just a few Q's! Where do i start? Pre-packed? (i'm in the UK so what brands are best?) or prepare my own? What to feed? How many times a day and how much to give? (Pixie's around 2 and a half pounds in weight) Do i have to give extra vitamins/supplements? HELP!!! LOL It all seems a bit daunting! Thanks for any help and advice in advance!

I just posted similar questions yesterday. Here is my thread... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=108998 I didn't ask your question about additional supplements but think I covered the rest. Someone posted a link for an awesome coupon too. I definately going to make the switch. Good Luck!

Not sure if you have Nature's Variety at UK. But it is a good one. Chloe is currently on it. Check out their website. It gives you pretty good idea how much to feed your furbaby....

also, I don't give any supplement since NV has everything you need in it...only if you want to....I know some raw feeders give vit E to their furbabies for their coats....etc. I personally don't give anything extra....and she is healthy and happy!

I bet Zoe would love the new diet! She might look at you like you lost your mind when you first introduce her to the new diet....Chloe didn't know what the hek I was giving her when I first introduced her the NV raw diet...
