| When to introduce new foods? My girls are now 3 months old and I would like to let them enjoy a little treat once in a while. Jo and Riley have a cooked egg on Sundays and they have little cheese flavored cookie treats. Are the girls too young to include in these treats? They currently eat Innova puppy food and nothing else. Will a small change upset them too much at this age? |

| I would think all natural foods like eggs and cheese treats would be ok for puppies-plus, both have protein which should be good for them as they are growing. Maybe just start out with a tiny amount so that you can see how it affects their tummies-if no upset, you can try a little more the next day.

| As long as you do it in moderation I think they will be fine.

| Thank you...I thought it would be alright in moderation but figured I'd ask first. I haven't given them anything other than their Innova and I don't want to rock the boat. they'll be starting puppy school in January and they use treats then so I guess I should get them used to something new before that...don't want them to...well, you know...during class! |
