| In a hurry I am in a hurry and didn't read all the post... but humping is not just a sexual thing. It isn't like they are masturbating... they are showing dominance... he is trying to become dom. over you and your son... you have to show him it is you (this is why girl dogs even do it). Try firmly holding his head on the ground and growling in his ear when he does it.... firmly... but not hurting him... it shows you are the alpha dog in the family... goes for your son too... but teach him how to do it right! He has to know where he belongs in that pack! |

| Chloe was humping the second day after I brought her home at 8 weeks. I think she learned it from her brother who was humping on her when i bought her. I think it's a dominance thing. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | My boys go to town like clockwork each night - around 9pm when we hop in bed to read. They bring up a stuffed lover and trade off (bc Marcel injured his own lover). I'm fine with it bc I think it's something they need to do - and as long as they don't hump humans, I don't see it as aggressive in the least. Comical, yes - but not aggressive.
