| 5 hr. trip and she turns her nose up!!! I went to Memphis yesterday to stock up on NV raw medallions (5 hr round trip) I got 2 rabbit, 2 chicken, 1 venison, and 1 lamb. Well, I put out the rabbit this morning as she did her little hungry morning dance and she took one sniff and looked at me as if to say, "this chicken has gone bad". I gave her a bit from my hand but she was none too pleased with it. I ended up putting it back in the fridge and will try again later. And you would know the rabbit was the most expensive! I was thinking once I get some tripe of mixing it in with the rabbit so it will not go to waste...I hope. Any other suggestions?

| Maybe she's telling you, 'enough with this premade stuff get my gizzards, hearts and chicken necks out again!' Sorry lol, erm... as you say you can try mixing it with stuff she does like, or searing them (very lightly). |

| LOL...yeah, probably so! But since I am scared to give her beef at this point and not yet comfortable with giving her pork I was trying to give her another protien sorce other than the chicken. There is not much lamb around here and my son will have to kill a deer to get the venison. I will go now and thaw out more gizzards and hearts....and cut them up very small!!!!

| Yeah it is good to give her variety. Perhaps try mixing it with a little of her beloved gizzards and hearts. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Sounds like Marcel! While Wylie loves every flavor of NV, Marcel is a stickler. I first tried venison, then rabbit and finally lamb. He is a fan of the lamb - but hopefully his palette will open up as we continue w/ raw.
