| Sample menu please Ok you mom's who feed the raw....Delilah is really enjoying the gizzards. She ate a bit of one at 5 today and just now she was acting hungry so I was gonna let her have a little bite of one. I had to hold on tight cause she was really going after it. She was pulling so hard on it that she tipped, you know how they do, and she got it loose from me and ran off with it and before i could get to her she swallowed the whole thing...the tendon things and all! And then the greedy pig grabbed a heart and swallowed it down! Anyway, I am gonna start incorporating the "sure nuff" raw with her medallions. Just wanted to get an idea what to feed...gonna stick with chicken/turkey until after Thanksgiving. Could I give her a gizzard at each meal? I worry about the liver cause she seems to have some sort of reaction when she has eaten cooked liver in the past. What is an average meal for your babies?

| There isen't really any part of the chicken/turkey that you can't give her, although you want to stay away from the turkey skin at first because it could be too fatty for her as she's only just starting on raw. The liver is laxative so will cause diarrea if you give too much, so only a teeny bit. An average meal from a chicken or turkey could be, RMB's- drumstick, thigh, wing, neck or breast meat with ribs attached. The turkey ones of these are huge so they will either need cutting into smaller pieces for her or you could just let her have her fill and then take it away and put it back in the fridge. Organ meat (innards)- liver, kidneys, gizzards etc Muscle meat- any meat without bone (e.g breast meat) or heart. Sounds like Delilah will be having a feast!
