| ![]() I hope someone can help me. My husband just brought home a Maltese puppy. AWW she is so sweet. The problem that I have is her hair is really full of static. I brush her and within a few minutes she is all fuzzy again. What do groomers use to help with this? |

| ![]() There are lots of anti-static sprays for just this problem. I personally like Vellus or Stazko, both of which are available on line. But Petco carries several also. Try to find one without any alcohol in it and not too much silicone as both with dry the hair further. Use a good conditioner after bath also. Congratulations on your new puppy. Oh -- and they say "Never brush a dry dog" if you want to have much coat. So spritz a little anti-static on before brushing. Good luck.

| ![]() Thank you. Do they sell it online? There are no decent pet stores here.I hope I can get some. I think my hubby got me the new puppy because he fell in love with one of our yorkies(Daisy Mae) He drives truck and took her with him today. I miss her but I think it is so cute that he took her. ![]() |

| ![]() Oh, that is sweet. Yes, the products are on line. Go to PetEdge.com for some products (Stazko) and Vellus.com is one I like too. I just heard about Key West Aloe shampoo which is supposed to be very good also for these coats. Summerwinds makes one and so does Coat Handlers. Coat Handlers is a brightening shampoo, which you might like for your maltese, but be sure to dilute these properly to keep from drying the coat. Good luck with your new baby.
