Reviews of Tear Stain remedies

Has anyone tried the
Milk of Magnesia, corn starch and peroxide (20 volume to 40 volume)

remedy? I whipped up a mixture of it tonight and tried it on Ella.
Can I make a batch of it and use that over a period of time or do I have to mix a little each time I use it?

What I've tried on her so far:

Eye envy NR (I was told to use the refrigerated kind to get the stain completely removed and the NR formula as a maintainer). NR did help but I found that filtered water helped the most

Tylan (I'm not sure of the dosage so I only used it a few times) Does anyone know the dose I should be giving her?

Filtered/bottled water (this works amazing, I noticed a HUGE difference when I thought it wasn't working as switched everyone back to faucet water, her beard got really dark) I use PUR pitcher. Cheaper and greener than bottled water.

Diet-free of wheat, soy, corn (I'm not sure how much this has helped but I found a few brands that everyone likes so I'm sticking with them)

TUMS (to get rid of that sour smell from a wet face) THIS REALLY WORKS!!! It worked two days later!

That's where I got the MOM formula from (thank you)! It doesn't answer a few of my questions thou . I'm trying to weed out the cause of Ella's staining. Brinklii doesn't have staining (he just has a stinky face ... BUT NOT ANYMORE YAY) Versace has staining but you can't really see it. Ella is my avatar, she's my guinea pig LOL ... poor thing gets so frustrated sometimes.

That one sounded the safest to me, you can drink milk of magnesia, and peroxide is a very safe oxidizing bleach, cornstarch is also safe, and she does say you often get good results after one use. I was going to try it, but I keep forgetting to get cornstarch. He still has a bit of stain left from my experimentation with a different food, and if I ever remember to get the cornstarch I'll let you know how it works. To answer your question, I would mix a little at a time, since peroxide works with oxygen, it may change properties if it's mixed with the other ingredients for too long of a time.

Thanks! I put the MOM formula on her tonight. We'll see how it goes. I went to the grocery store specifically for cornstarch (and came out with a lot more than just that ). I gave her a bath tonight and put it on her after wards, I should of done it before bath day. But she needed it.

I was just thinking that. I just looked at her and sure enough there is a HUGE noticeable difference. I applied it again (I think I only got the top "layer"). So this time I caked it on. I have before pictures I will for sure take after pictures.

Ooopppss I forgot to take pictures. It works pretty good but now I have her on angel eyes once a week (just as a maintainer) and its working great. I also let her go outside now (too afriad after my run in with a bald eagle ... YES A GORGEOUS RARE BUT STINKIN' SCARY BALD EAGLE landed next to my baby). I just couldn't stand pee pads or the potty patch anymore. So outside walks we go on with big brother! He is soooo protective of her.
