Update on my son Alex...Need more prayers!!! PLEASE!!! - YorkieTalk.com Forums

To those of you that prayed for the health of my baby boy(and you were so many) I just wanted to say thank you again...

For those of you that don't know what happened, this is my last thread about my son Alex...http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/spe...ease-read.html

I am begging you for some more prayers AGAIN...After loads more phone calls to the hospital and going down there just to be told there was no one in that could help me, I called again today and managed to speak with the Doctor...well only for 2 minutes as he was preparing to go in a sugery.... The Doc. told me that unfortunately he can't tell me much but they have had a meeting with 7 specialists( I was terrified and wondered why they needed so many specialist just to read an MRI scan

) to discuss Alex's case and after the meeting the Doctor that used to see Alex decided he has to transfer the case to another Doctor who is a NEUROSURGEON...hE COULDN'T TELL ME MORE OVER THE PHONE AS HE SAID IT'S NOT HIS CASE ANYMORE

... He said the new Doctor will call me in the morning and let me know what is happening

I am besides myself because the Doc that called me told me is not something ''very horible''(exactly his words)

What does that mean???? Does it mean that it's VERY BAD but not bad enaught to be horrible or what???

I am sure I won't be closing an eye tonight....I am sooooooooooo frustrated and just don't know what to do...I even went on the bloody internet and searched for the actual meaning of ''neurosurgeon'' (not that I didn't knew what it was) but just for...I don't even know what for...

This is what it came up with:
neurosurgeon A surgeon specialized in managing diseases of the brain, spine and peripheral nerves, Brain tumors
someone who does surgery on the nervous system (especially the brain)

Please please please say some prayers for my sweet baby...WE REALLY NEED THEM ALL NOW...

Maria... I am so sorry for Alex.. I always keep him an you in our prayers. I called my church an had Alex put on our Prayer list. Miracles do happen.. Give Alex a hug an kiss from us an he is in my prayers. YT prayers helped me! Everyone say a special prayer for Alex now an keep it going!

Oh Boy Maria, im sorry that you have to go through this...please try not to get to far ahead of yourself with figuring it out....I will pray for your baby Alex and for you as well.....God Bless...hang in there..

That kind of answer is totally unacceptable. I would call the original doctor
back and demand he give me the # of the neurosurgeon so you can call
him tonight. He must have a service and leave a message for him to call
you tonight because your frantic with worry.
Sometimes you just have to be more forcefull. I am so sorry your going
threw hell right now with questions unanswered. I will be praying
once again for baby Alex.

I agree, you shouldn't have been left out in "leftfield" just to worry all night. Prayers go out to Alex and his doctors.

Maria, I am so very sorry for the unprofessional way your "former" doctor treated you. Your family remains in my thoughts and prayers, I haven't posted much but I do pray for baby Alex. I am glad to see that Fl Tink is pming you. She was such a reassurance to me when I injured my leg

I am sure that the team of doctors working with Alex are working hard to "fix" his problems. Sometimes they get caught up with the "case" and forget the people aspect. I will say some extra prayers for your family tonight and tomorrow and watch for updates.
