If you click on the link that says "portal" at the top, on the main page there is a column on the right that gives the current post count:

Members: 2,115
Threads: 4,843
Posts: 49,122

That's why the winner only needs to post on the same day we hit 50,000, and that's why there is a secret number in the 50,000 Post thread.

We're going to try to make it as random as possible, the secret number will fit in somehow as will a random number generated by one of our members! You just need to post today or (most likely) tomorrow, when we hit the big 50,000! The winner will be announced in the evening of the big day.

The secret number is just a secret number for now, a big secret!

nO WONDER SO MANY HAVE BEEN ONLINE TODAY! AT ONE POINT i SAW 36 AT ONE TIME ON THE GENERAL DISCUSSION. I'M RATHER NEW SO MAYBE THAT ISN'T OUT OF THE ORDINARY BUT I DON'T REMEMBER SEEING THAT MANY BEFORE AT ONE TIME. I'LL BET BROWNIESMOM WILL STAY UP ALL NIGHT POSTING
