| Cant stop going Jake recently started going pee so much, and we don't know why. He still eats and drinks the same. But he keeps asking to go out and goes so much! Within a very small period of time. Is this normal or is there a possibility there's something wrong. We are very hesitant to go to the vet, they've drained so much money from us. For things they shouldve not. Thank you for any advice! |

| He may have a urinary tract infection. Lacy just recently started having accidents in the house and drinking a lot of water. I took her to the vet friday suspecting a urinary tract infection. The vet saw some inflammitory cells in her urine and suspects the same thing so she's going back in on monday to get a urine sample to send to the lab to get a culture so we'll know for sure. They also did a blood work-up just to make sure there wasn't something more serious going on and it came back all normal. So Monday we should find out for sure or not if it's a UTI

| I'd go to the vet to have him checked out.

| Not to scare you, but you really need to take Jake to the vet. My Lady is a diabetic and excessive peeing is one of the signs. Your vet can do a very simple test to rule out diabetes. More than likely, little Jake has a urinary tract infection. He still needs to go to the vet. It won't go away on it's own and will only get worse if it's not treated. Early on lots of vets will just prescribe a course of antibiotics. If it's allowed to get worse, Jake might need expensive tests, xrays for stones, etc. and you will have a much bigger vet bill. |
