The past couple of days Simon's eye has been watering more than usual but it's a clear discharge. I've been putting in his artificiall tears drops that he has for his allergies and washing his eye with a warm washcloth. He isn't scratching at it or acting like it bothers him at all.

Today I went to wash it off and it's swollen and the white part is fairly red. Could that be a result of the allergies? I'm going to call the vet tomorrow but was wondering if anyone had any answers today.

It probably could be from allergies. People's eyes swell and get red with allergies so Simon may be doing the same thing. I hope it's better soon. Let us know what the vet says.

sounds like allergies to me... Layla's eyes were very red last week. poor simon.. hope he gets some relief soon!

Well we are off to the vet. Simon started rubbing his face all over last night and scratching his eye. This morning when we got up the bottom lid is so swollen it almost looks like it's inside out so we have an appt. at 2:30

Poor monkey~

Simon said for me to tell you that even though his eye hurts he's still playing ball and practicing
