I just got a new male yorkie puppy today. He was doing great today, but after waking up from a nap tonight he started sneezing and coughing up a little water.

Does anyone know what this means? Should I be doing anything? Should I be worried?

did he cough or throw up??? had he JUST had some water??? if so maybe he did cough some up .. otherwise it sounds like he threw up... keep a VERY Close eye on him... he if throws up again... to the vet.. he is too tiny to wait around and see how he feels. Hope he doens't do it again

Did he drink a lot of water? I'd keep a close eye on him, and take him to the vet if it keeps happening.

Rosi coughs up Water everytime she drinks, i think she drinks to fast, she has done that ever since she was a pup, and she is 2 1/2
Just watch real close !

just see if it sound like he is breathing clear. how small and how old?

I would definately take him to the nearest vet if it happens again...
