Some times my Toby looks like he's limping when he's running around but he doesn't do it all the time. I was wondering if he could be having trouble with his knees like some other yorkies have? Would this be a sign? Also what test does the vet want done to determine if he has knee trouble?

what you're describing could very likely be his knees. The first thing my Vet would do is give a manual exam of the knees and if he feels there is a significant problem then he would order x-rays. X-rays are done under sedation so he can manipulate the knee without the dog fighting him.

If you're concerned then schedule an appointment.

I agree, it can be luxating patella. Do have the vet check it out.

How old is he? My dog seems to have that problem too but he is 7 months old
