| discharge from pregnant yorkie Could someone answer a question for me? I have a 2 1/2 year old yorkie (Gigi) that is 7 weeks pregnant. She is having a discharge from her vagina. Is this normal or do I need to call the vet for an emergency visit? Can it wait til morning? Thank you ever so much, Diane |

| Thank you for getting back to me. This site has always been so helpful and the people are really wonderful!!!! She is 48 days along. It is not a lot of discharge, just noticed it on the drip hairs at her vagina. He temp is okay and she doesn't seem uncomfortable. No odor, other than she could use a bath, but don't want to stress her right now.............been a week since she had one. LOL I have decided to wait until in the am...............she will sleep with me tonight anyway. |

| Sounds like she's just having a little discharge. sometimes when the puppys move or when the mother is really active they will have a little discharge. But its allways a good Idea to cheak with your vet. They know a little more than we do sometimes. She should be okay though!!! Good luck and let us know how she makes out tomarrow!
