| Chloe fell down...HELP She's 2lbs 2oz. I was holding her coming into my room & she jumped out of my arms. I tried to catch her, but couldn't. I'm 5'6 so she probably fell about 4 feet or so. I don't know if she fell on her back/side/head, but she was crying & couldn't get up right away. When I picked her up she cried. I tried to hold her, but she didn't want me to. She went straight to her bed. She NEVER lays in her bed. She's always with me. Right now she's shaking like crazy, too. I've got her covered w/ a towel & a down comforter, but she's still shaking. I tried feeling around & she seems to cry when I touch her back, right above her tail. Every time she moves or I try to pick her up she cries. When I put her on the ground to see if she could walk, she walked a few steps & each time she moved her legs were popping. She wouldn't walk by herself at all. We called the only two ER vets in our area & neither one was any help. The first one was a total butthole and the second acted like he didn't want to even see her. He said keep her comfortable & bring her tomorrow if it's the same. All she's doing now is sleeping. I keep checking her eyes and everything, but I'm really worried. Any advice???

oh and the shaking is probably from the shock of the fall.

| I don't even have a crate I've only had her for a week and a half. I don't use a crate because she's ALWAYS in my arms. She won't leave me alone for a second usually... I don't have a vet, yet, either. This week was going to be her first vet trip since I got her for her third set of boosters. Thanks for the info, though. I'll find a vet and take her in the AM.

The good news is, these guys are incredibly resilient. My 4-pounder had a fall of about that high not too long after he'd had leg surgery. He whined but showed no signs of injury later. Good luck, and definitely get her to the vet tomorrow if there's still any pain at all.

| Thanks, everyone. I'll be taking her to a vet in the AM, hope I have enough $$ left on my credit card after a big Chloe shopping spree, since I don't get paid until Thursday. She seems to be doing okay. She just woke up finally...we tried to give her some food/water. She had a little drink of water, but she wouldn't eat. She still doesn't seem to be walking perfectly, but she's walking around chasing after Daddy a little bit. I'm not letting her play, yet, though just in case. She's pretty crazy when she plays and I don't want her to aggrivate any injury that may be present. So I don't know how she is w/ that. I tried to give her a beef liver treat and she sat down to eat it. Usually, she throws it around & pounces it many, many times before eating it. So I don't think she's feeling up to that, yet. She seems to be okay now, overall, I guess. While she was sleeping she gave us a big scare, though, because she was totally unresponsive for a bit. She was still breathing, but we tried everything to get a response for about a minute or two with nothing. Sheesh. This isn't helping my project (due tomorrow) get done any sooner. Ugh. I don't really care, though, she's more important than university as I'm sure all of you understand. My poor little furbaby. I hope she's okay. Thank you all for, everything. I'll keep you updated!

| I'd keep her still (maybe a basket she can't get out off, or even the lap) as she may have sprained something. And bring her to the vet early AM, they are very fragile when so tiny. Pepper got dropped - at the vet's office - when he was like 11 weeks old and about 1.5 lb about 5 feet down on tiled floor OMG I thought I would get a heart attack but he didn't even squeak, he was fine wheeew. I hope your baby is alright
