YT Addict | loose stools and throwing up? Hi guys, I'm worried about my baby Theresa. She has been having runny and loose stools (sometimes laced with mucus, sometimes not) for the past 5 days now. But it has been on and off. She only seems to get them part of the time. The rest of the time her stools are soft and mushy (not as firm as they used to be). And I noticed she's been throwing up too. I've JUST started taking both Teddy and Theresa outside.. and while Teddy is perfect.. Theresa tends to like to play in the grass and such. I'm hoping theres a correlation between her probably eating something she wasn't supposed to outside and her now upset tummy? I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow.. does any one have any ideas of what it could be? Please, I'm so worried. Do you think it might be worms? She's already been checked for worms and did the stool sample when she was 3 months? Should I ask to run more tests? I will be bringing in a sample on Monday when I see the vet. Ashley

| Have you been keeping eye on her every move while she's outside? Maybe it's something she's eating and maybe it's the food you feed her. I hope the Vet. finds the problem and not just guess at it and send her home with medication. |

I think its been something she's been eating outside. I only walk her outside for approx. 45 minutes and she's back in the house. I feed her Royal Canin and I'm thinking that could be a possible problem as well. Teddy is a little finicky with the food as well. I might be switching her and Teddy's dog food. I hope the vet will diagnose the problem.. he's great with my dogs but sometimes can ignore subtle problems the dogs may have... saying "don't worry about it" or "maybe it will clear up later." or "feed her chicken and rice." I will feed her the chicken and rice but I'm really worried. Ashley

| Is she eating grass? I know when mine eat grass they always throw-up later.I was told the reason they eat grass is to throw-up.Just watch her when she goes outside.Write down the time when she goes outside ,when she throw-up,and when she eats.Show it to the Vet when you go .Try giving her a 1/2 of a pepcid at bedtime.

| There have been a lot of pup here with the same symptoms - including one of mine. With her, I took in a stool sample too and they found way too much of a certain bacteria and put her on antibiotics. Hope you find out and can get it treated right away. |
