| Lump and bumps When I picked up Gracie from the groomer today, the groomer showed me some little red bumps/spots on Gracie's head and tummy. At first she thought they looked like flea bites but she did not find any fleas. They seem to be fading some tonight but they are turning crusty. I had noticed some tiny crusty spots on her skin before, thinking maybe she scratched herself or something. I was looking at her tummy again this evening and there is a lump near her spay incision site. I sure hope she does not have a hernia, or something worse. We have a vet appointment tomorrow. I hope its nothing serious!

| Thanks for trying to help. The lump is really small and hard. It almost feels like a piece of rock salt or something just under her skin. It is right next to where her internal sutures are that have not yet dissolved. I had not given Gracie a bath for a couple of weeks. I noticed some spots before and thought they might be flea bites or something like that from the park. I am stumped on that one. I use an oatmeal shampoo or cowboy magic shampoo and finish with Pantene Pro V conditioner and cowboy magic detangler. Good luck to Bella!

| After taking Bentley to a groomer he aquired a 'bump' that was sort of flaky. When we took him to the vet they said he had been around another dog with a virus of some sort or something like that... It was a wort. He said it would just fall off on it's own since it was in a place he wouldn't bother it. Well it did, not too long after... No problems since. |

| Good News! We saw the vet today. The "lump" is scar tissue, we think. The skin bumps, well, Gracie has dry skin. I will start her on a fish oil supplement. Also got her started on Frontline. She has a clean bill of health. Oh yes, she weighed almost a pound more since her spay, 5 lbs 13 oz. My little porker!

| lump found on right side hello everyone I just noticed a lump on my 9week old Mia right side. I took her to the vet earlier in the week and he said she was fine no hernia. But now I discovered this lump. I don't know if that lump was there early in the week. Does anyone think it could be the injection site from her shots? She doesn't seem to like it when you touch it. Mia is still very active and happy. She is a tough puppy trying to take over the house...LOL but the lump got me worried?? Any suggestions??? Worried MOMMY!! |

| It could be from the injection. In my experience, painful bumps are not generally serious, but it could be a cyst or something. Might want to take her in and have it checked.

| Do you think if it was a cyst the vet would of found it monday? I hope not I was thinking of waiting a few days to see if it goes down, what do you think?? I want to think positive and say it was from the injection but I don't exactly know where he injected her. |

| It probably is just from the injection, but cysts do grow fast. If it is not better today, I would give the vet a call and see if they think baby should be seen.
