| ![]() Hi everyone! This may be a weird question to ask, but how often do your babies poop??? It seems my Kobe poops ALLLLLLL the time, and it's been really hard to housebreak him. He poops as soon as he wakes up, ten minutes later, twenty minutes, later, etc etc etc!!!!!! GEESH! Is this normal or could something be wrong here? BTW I feed him Eukanaba (sp?) and once in a while give him carrots. ![]() |

| ![]() See! I thought that was normal....I don't have another yorkie but I have two HUGE Akitas and when they were being trained, I was able to wake up and take them outside, then when I first came home from school, and then right before bed. So ususally 2-3 times a day they pooped and theyre HUGE!!! Kobe is 1lb 15 ounces and poops throughout the day, all day like it's a hobby! Geesh! ![]() |

| ![]() One of my pups goes every time he goes out and the other does it twice a day. Do you feed on a schedule of free feed? A schedule keeps them more regular. Maybe the food doesn't agree with him and you need to change it? Good luck to you and the little one.

| ![]() She goes #2 the exact amount of time she eats everyday; 3 times a day. The judge of a good food (or one of them) is how many times your baby goes #2 and what it looks like. If he is going so often then he is not able to digest a bulk of the ingredients in the food you are feeding. I would suggest changing his diet if it has been ruled out that he has no parasites and such. Also as someone else stated he should be on a schedule of feeding times, that will help also. |

| ![]() Are you feeding him the amount suggested on the label? I personally think it's the food. I use to feed my girls Eukanuba, until they kept getting sick and no amount of medicine would help. I switched them to a better quality food and they have never again been sick since. I feed the baby Innova Puppy but there are many other brands of food out there that have better ingredients than Eukanuba. Last I remembered I think Eukanuba has a lot of unnecessary and indigestibles fillers. Any hoo, I would try changing the food for a few months and see how that goes. That is granted the vet finds nothing else wrong with the little guy. Good luck! |

I'm assuming he;s pretty young, yes? That is normal at that age. They do poop all the time. Chloe pooped over 4 times a day when she was brand new. Also, both Iams and Eukanuba seem to cause dogs to produce more poop. I used to feed Chloe Iams (same company), and when I switched, she started pooping way less. | |

| ![]() Rocky usually poops twice a day, occasionally 3x, and once in a while he won't poop for a whole day. My mom knows people who had smaller breeds, including yorkies and toy poodles and she said that they always pooped a lot, but if your concerned definitly ask your vet.

| ![]() I had my concerns about the food, esp. since I went to the pet store and they gave me a full free bag of Royal Canine...then proceded to tell me how bad Eukanba is. The only reason I havent switched is because the breeder told me it's the best. So maybe I will try the other dog food for awhile. And yes, he's young, he's not even four months yet. I guess I was just concerned because for someone so small he's a pooping machine ![]() ![]() ![]() |
