| worried about blindness.... oky this may be a stupid question, but i will ask anyways. So kikko is still in the hospital and now i am concerned whether or not he may be blind as well. I have attached pictures of him that closest represents what i mean (with the least amount of flash effects), his eye have a cloudy blue look to them, when comparing with my other yorkie which look like black glass lil beads (hehe) I get concerned. I will ask my vet when I get kikko back but ... i was hoping for your guy and gals thoughts ... he responds to us, like he'll follow us around but i don't know if he's going by smell or sound. i feel like now i'm just worried about everything and anything when it comes to my lil guy. just b/c he's had so many problems right now, i keep thinking something else is going to happen. PS: The last picture is for laughs i love it, these are the few pics i was able to take before he got sick again |

| eyes His eyes look fine for a pup his age...a vet can tell if he is blind or not, but there is no reason to suspect it.... |

| i hope so! Quote:
Oh thank god! well I hope this is so at least. Its just a scare b/c my mom began worrying about it, esp after his pneumonia, and his CT. Not to mention at 3 months he's only 1.5 lbs. he's really tiny compared to other puppies i've seen on here so far. but thank you for your reply .. i feel a little better | |

| pup A young pup that is blind will act unsure of strange areas, especially outdoors..they may sit and not run aroudn much..but you iwll notice them bumping into everything...it can be hard to tell when an adult slowly loses their sight...like with cateracts..they adjust to less and less vision and it may take months for the owner to realize it... |

| Really cute pics there. I have one of Venus, just like that last one for laughs! I don't know about blindness in dogs. But I'd think they have to be much older to go blind, I don't know though. |

| I love the last picture!!! I think his eyes looks just like my Momiji and I don't think she is blind. She doesn't bump into furniture or anything... |

| Your baby is gorgeous. My Rebel is 16 weeks old today and his eyes look like your baby's. I think they look fine.

| I would think that if you move your hand in front of her - you can tell if she is following it with her eyes. My pup just to watch everything going on around him. If you throw something out on the floor - does he go toward it - and get it? Carol Jean |
