| ![]() Ok, Im not an expert but I think she will be ok. I think dark chocolate is more dangerous that milk chocolate. Keep and eye on her. If you are still worry call your vet, he has more knowledge than me. Good luck. Please keep us posted. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() I would THINK a tiny M&M wouldn't hurt her - if she ate alot of them - different story - but you should be ok |

| ![]() I am positive that one M&M won't hurt her at all. In fact, several probably wouldn't hurt her. A week ago, my Yorkie was chomping away on something in the bathroom. My sister and I checked and he had stolen a "Heath bar" from her purse and had eaten nearly the whole thing by the time we caught him eating it. He didn't get sick at all......and, he had her checkbook in there also. He was probably going to have that after the Heath bar. But - anyway - I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. I'm not especially talking about chocolate -- but I'd hate to have to tell anyone some of the things my dogs have eaten over the years. You have to watch them every second, and even then, they get into things they shouldn't. Carol Jean |

| ![]() I agree with everyone above, that she will be okay b/c she didn't eat a lot. Do you actually know what my dad told me? And I'm NOT NOT NOT condoning what he did...but he told me he used to give his dog chocolate! ![]() And he also dropped a grape on the floor once, and Baby ate it. She was okay, but of course I told him not to drop stuff on the floor..of his own house b/c grapes are toxic to Yorkies! LOLOL Now he busts my chops and says he's gonna feed Baby Chocolate and Grapes. NOT to hurt her, just to kid around b/c he thinks I'm an overprotective mommy. He always says with everything now to kid around, "oh, no don't give that to Baby, that might be toxic!!!" And then of course he laughs at himself. ![]() Here's a pic of my dad and Baby. He loves her so much...so does my mom for that matter. ![]()

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() Nicole, what a cute pic of your Dad and Baby. Looks like he is a good grandpa, that loves his grandaughter, aww ![]() I agree about the one M&M, it shouldn't be a problem, just one. I can always tell when Ruby has something not approved, she'll be chewing , I look at her and ask "what are you chewing on"?. She looks at me and takes off running with whatever still in her mouth. Then the battle is on, me trying to get "it", and her trying to keep "it". LOL

| ![]() yes, she was fine, of course I watched her like a hawk to make sure she wasn't showing signs of toxicity, even when she would lie down I would be like "Lola? Are you okay? lola? LOLA!?" I think she was just trying to get a nap in, my boyfriend says Im a worry wart but I just wanted to make sure....thanks for all yall's help, It calmed me down & I was relieved to see I wasn't the only on who this had happened to & that yall's babies were okay in similar situations! Thanks again!!! |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | ![]() milk chocolate is the least worrisome, then dark chocolate, then bakers chocolate. that's the worst. For bakers chocolate i believe its 1 oz per pound for toxicity. for milk chocolate it think its 1 oz per 10lbs.

| ![]() Your puppy should be fine, like everyone else said. Last weekend I had the same scare. I was getting ready to go out of town for a day and I looked and noticed Rocky was eating a Kaluha (sp?) Milk Chocolate Candy Bar out of my purse that I left open on the bed. I was panicking, I called the vet ASAP and they said he'd be fine, and that if anything he might have diareah (sp?) over the next couple of days. I even called back to re-assure. It was onlyl a tiny piece but I was soo scared. Luckily, where I was going was only a couple hours away, so I left my bf the vet and emergency vet numbers and he took care of him. I had to call like every hour to see if he was OK too...but nothing ever happened to him. I know it's easier said than done, but you really don't gotta worry that much (at least as much as I did lol). |
