I took Candi out back for the first time. (she wanted to go out with Lexi and Tori so bad) My poor baby wasn't out 3 minutes, and was stung on her front right paw. I pulled the stinger out but her paw started swelling and she wouldn't stop crying. I called my vet and he told me to bring her in right away. I hurried to the vet and by the time I got there she was vomiting and barely moving. They took us right away and started an IV along with a allergy shot. She apparently had an allergic reaction. They made sure she was OK and sent us to the 24hr emergency care. She has to spend the night, and as long as she is OK in the morning, I can go get her. I am so sad and want to go sit with her tonight.

PLEASE pray my baby can come home in the morning...

Im so sorry that little Candi got an allergic reaction. I will have her in my prayers for her to be ok and able to go home tomorrow morning. Please keep us posted. Gucci sends you lots of hugs and kisses.

Thanks ya'll, she is just so little to be away all night, and the poor 24 hour vet. They said I can call to check in on her anytime.

The receptionist said if I wanted I could even stay up there tonight.

well pack all your girls up and go sleep in you sleeping bags next to the cage !!

i think shes fine they saw her and wanted to kiss her cute face all night !

You are so funny, I want to go back up there and my hubby thanks I'm crazy. I could just sit with her in my lap all night and read. Lexi may have a heart attack if I were gone all night so I may have to take her too.

I'm so sorry! I know twice when Cali was at the ER hospital for a couple of dyas I was so worried and they told me that I could call anytime and that she was fine and if she were to get stressed out they carry them around.They really do get good care there especially the small dogs the staff likes to hold them. She will be home soon!

I just called and the vet on staff said she is fine the swelling is almost gone and she is eating and drinking. He said I can pick her up anytime in the morning. I should have asked if I could get her tonight.
