| After Neutered Hello, my yorkie had his neuter 2 days ago, and he is doing fine now, he plays, eats and sleep well. However, I saw him humping his little toy just now, isnt it weird? I mean he is neutered and he should not be humping anything, right? I called the clinic, but they are closed during the weekend. Can someone tell me if this is very unusual? Thanks. |

| I've heard of many people whose males still hump after neutering. Lucky you to be one of those people!

| Oh yes they still hump, surprising 2 days after surgery! That would make a grown man,, wince! Bailey does it every now and then, sometimes it's aggression, sometimes it's about dominance,,and sometimes, I have NO idea!

| It may just be a dominance thing now not so much a hormonal thing. You know, sort of like females that do the whole humping thing? I have a female that tries to hump everything in sight when we come home from visiting my mom's. It's like she has to show the toys that she's boss. Weird.

| Poncho did the same thing. It's been 2 1/2 years now and he's still at it. I guess some do it, and some don't.
