SEVERE skin issues, itching, baldness - please help!

I have a 6 year old Yorkie who is itching non stop seems as if she is eating herself... She is already half bold and no one is able to figure this out. She is currently on antibiotics but still keeps itching to blood and chewing her palms.. I am attaching an image,, please let me know if this looks familiar

This thread is about 5 years old. You might get better replies if you were to start a new thread.
That picture is hard for me to see, but your poor pup looks pretty rough. Do you have any specialist vets in your area? I might consider taking her to a veterinary dermatologist if I were you. How long has this been going on?

Oh gosh, your poor poor baby looks just miserable . Some questions:

- Why is he on antibiotics?
- Are you seeing a Vet Dermatologist?
- Was a skin scrape done and a culture grown out?
- Did you test for thyroid and Cushings?
- What allergy meds were tried?
