| Dental in the morning...😩 So, our smallest, Pinky (who is 4 lbs) will be going in first thing in the morning for her dental cleaning and to check a small lump under her left eye. Naturally, I'm panicking already. We've all gone through this (including me LOL) but I still worry myself sick. Any tips on staying calm? I worry so much. And with her being so small, I worry more. She will have her blood panel, EKG and other prescreening done prior to her cleaning in the morning. Thank you all

| It's always scary when our babies go under... Esp when they are so small. My oldest needed a dental done at 14 and I was so worried. His blood work and everything came back fine and I paid xtra for a different kind of anesthesia that they allegedly wake up easier from... I forget the name. Anyway I was worried sick all day and called the vet frequently for updates... He did great! And he's so much happier and healthier with a clean mouth. Best of luck... Hopefully the day goes by quickly for you! |

| Sending best wishes for Pinky. Glad she is having all the prescreening done. I completely understand worrying! I always get myself so worked up. If you are at home while she is at the vet, I recommend house cleaning or yard work as a way to stay busy and make the time go faster. That is what helps me.

| Update on Pinky: I just received the call a few minutes ago that Pinky is awake and doing well from her dental!!! Yayyy!!! The lump under her eye was associated with one of her molars which had to be pulled. She also had to have two other teeth pulled. I go pick her up this evening between 5-6. Phew, I am SO happy that is over. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!!!

| Thank you! We are home and Pinky is resting she's doing very well. Her little face is swollen, but she's in very good spirits.
