| my baby is eating bad things! My husband was holding her and said he stomache was making crazy noises and she was making a weird coughing sound, so he put her in her pen on her wee wee pad, thinking she had to go to the bathroom. So i went to go over and see if she was ok, and normally she come RUNNING to me. Instead she just sat on her wee wee pad and started shaking a little and then gagging. And she first spit up saliva and then did it again, and i saw in the corner of her mouth, this small beige thing. It was the little caps that cover screws in furniture! Last night my hubby found one in her mouth, and then she threw one up today. Well, there are still TWO missing ( we threw out the rest) Should i be concerned (she did finally JUSTgo the bathroom now- but i think thats b/c she hasnt had the Cesars wet food today)

| Hey - we've all been there. Everytime I think there is absolutely nothing that my dog can chew on in my house that is unsafe -- he finds something. Everytime, I hear him gnawing away on something - I get up and go see what it is. It's usually just one of his toys - but you have to keep your ears open and keep a constant eye on them. And - it's not always that things might be harmful for them, it's also to keep them from ruining things or damaging things. Good luck - keep your eyes and ears open. Carol Jean |

| mouth sound Make a appt with vet to rule out obstruction.I know what you are going though my little one is always into everything. It only takes a second. Peanut ate a pencil off to vet x-ray and meds.(160.00) Last week he was in the hospital for 24hours because he had a bad stomach ache. Doctors said it was from change in diet Dog Food and people food( my Husband was giving him leftovers everynight after work) which he doesnt do anymore. So please talk to your vet. Keep us posted . |

| They typicallly say if the dog does not eat, drink or go potty that is a sign that something is wrong. Stomps ate two rubber bands a few weeks ago and I'm worried. However, he seems fine and eats/poops so I am not going to take him in. I can go through a list of things he has eaten...including an ear plug that I saw in his poop!

Kimberly, I don't mean to freak you out, but I'm traumatized by rubberbands, this is how I lost my Maxie (see previous posts if interested or PM me). Keep a watch out. | |
