| ![]() I have 10 yr old teacup yorkie. She has had problems with abdominal bloating followed by diarrhea ( 6-9 diarrhea over two days) then belly goes down and she is better and good for approx 2 weeks normal bowel movements, no abdominal swelling then starts all over. At first she had to get fluid drained off abdomen monthly for 3 straight months. She no longer requires belly tapped but remains with bloating and diarrhea monthly. The vet did numerous testing including blood, urine, ultrasound parasites., they said no pancreatitis, no cancer, no heart problem,, but has low albumin. We have tried her on Prednisone, lasix, flagyl nothing seems to work. I feed her baby food meats small frequent meals and she will eat dry small bites science diet. Does anyone have similar problem? any suggestions ? |

| ![]() Have you tried taking her to a different vet or get a referral to a vet school.
