| buddy picked out his stiches!!!! hi all buddy was due to have his stiches out tomorrow and today i noticed he has picked them out is this ok |

| Didn't he have a cone on? I would call the vet. Licking the area as well as picking at the stitches would most likely necessitate some antibiotics if he wasn't taking them. Also if he ate the stitch it may give him a tummy ache.. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | I know when Gus Gus recently was Neutered his stitches was degradable. Anyways, at Petsmart they did have blow up cone/ life raft thing for dogs so they will not pull the stitches out. I was paranoid the first two weeks that we set up a small Play pen with his potty pads, and blanky so he would not have an accident in his cage and cause the wound to be infected. I was glad when it was all over to given him a bath though. I hope everything turns out better in the end for Buddy and you. The process sucks cause you normally want to do normal things with your dog but can't cause of the stitches.

| i dont know i've been keeping an eye on them and up until today they were fine my groomer was actually supposed to take out the stiches she doesn't like vets LOL |
