| Ringworm...ugh! I recently got 2 little baby yorkies back in May. We have had several issues with them including coccidia, 4 different types of worms, ear infections, and last but not least ringworm! We have been treating them for awhile now and nothing seems to work! We used ointment, shampoos, oral meds, and now the vet has resorted to lime sulfur dips. We are praying that this works. I was wondering if anyone else has gone through this and how long it took. Also I am very scared once they are cured about possible reinfection. Has this happened to anyone before? I feel so bad for them bc they are in "quarantine" so that our other 2 yorkies don't get it as well and I feel they aren't getting enough interaction. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Wow. Poor little babies, they have really been through the ringer. I would be furious with the breeder! I know we've had some owners here who have dealt with ringworm, as well as several wonderful rescue volunteers. I hope they can chime in and answer your questions.

| Yes, we are quite mad at the lady that we got them from. She is very rude and said she will give us our money back if we return the "merchandise". That infuriated me! We are just doing our best to get them well. I feel so bad that their first few months of life have been so rough. Hopefully we are on the right track but would love to hear of anyone else's experience with ringworm. |

| So I have seen on here different threads of a few people experiencing this. I would really like to have any info from anyone who had to deal with a severe case. The lime sulfur dips dont seem to be working as well as we had hoped and i dont know where to go from here. Help! |
