| Anna's neck bump/part two As some of you may remember, Anna had a bleeding bump removed from her neck several weeks ago. We were told everything looked good and to not worry. On vacation this past week, I was bathing her and I noticed that under her scar where her old bump used to be, there is a very large lump under her skin. It feels like a swollen lymph node. It doesn't seem to bother her when I touch it. I am calling the vet tomorrow, but in the mean time, has anyone else had this happen? She may just be sick and have a swollen lymph node. I've also thought that maybe she has an infection from the surgery. The other thought I have is that the original tumor was not completely removed and has come back with a vengeance. The first tumor was the size of a bb pellet and on her skin. This one is like a marble under her skin. I appreciate any thoughts from people who may have had an experience like this with their pets.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hopefully your vet will be able to tell if it's just a little scar tissue or an infection. Can you feel any other swollen lymph nodes? Please keep us posted. I will keep her in my prayers that is just a minor problem.

| No. I haven't felt any other swollen lymph nodes. Thanks for the prayers. I am hoping it is a minor infection or scar tissue also. It took her scar a while to heal.

| Thanks. I kind of felt silly when he said that. I am so paranoid about my kids and my babies. For some reason I always jump to the worst case scenario in my head.

| Thanks. I truly appreciate your concern. She is such a doll. But we have no idea what her past was like or any health issues she may have had. So, I guess my getting jumpy when she gets bumpy is something my vet will just have to deal with.
