Well it's only 9:40 here and I have already been to Vet with Allie this morning.

Crap, she ate a grasshopper last night and I couldn't get it out of her mouth.

I woke up at 3AM hearing this awful retching noise and then I smelled a gawd awful smell. She has diarrhea and vomiting from eating this darn thing.

She got fluids and a shot for nausea and has to take her metronidazole.

Allie is my one that prone to HGE and she has a very sensitive tummy as well.

Now I have be on grasshopper watch.

Oh my goodness Allie....stop eating those nasty grasshoppers

Thanks, I know the med's will help. I am just glad that my Vet doesn't have a problem when I have to bring one in at a moments notice.

Poor Allie! What these little ones can find and eat will drive a person nuts! I am always on guard as my girls seem to find stuff that they shouldn't eat! Tatiana has the same sensitive tummy. This is what she got into just yesterday ..... another dogs food, dog poop & found dropped food! I pray the Allie will feel better real soon!

Poor Allie and you! Praying she recovers quickly. I never thought a grasshopper could do such a thing. Teddy is my bug man, but thankfully he chews and spits.

Loll this made me laugh! Hope Allie will feel better soon. Momo is a bug eater...he eats anything. Not sure what kind of bug it was but it left a stinger & caused the tip of his tongue to have a little slit!

My Dex eats those big black crickets. Thankfully he has an iron clad stomach! It's so gross though!

Yikes...hope Allie is ok. I had a chuckle about your vet .. the gals at my vet told me they pencil me in for 10AM every day.

I too thank the Heavens that I have such a wonderful vet.

I am hopping Allie is doing better. My kitties are bug eaters. Guildenstern loves the wasps and hornets.

He eats them. Willow, she loves to torment the stink bugs.

She bats them, pushes them so she ends up with stinky paws.

Sometimes she forgets and the eat them.

She makes yuck face and tries to spit them out. She has stinky breath.

Oh my gosh!! I just posted a thread about these stupid things killing my rosé bushes!! I had no idea! That is so scary. Your poor baby. Hope she is feeling better.
