| My Yorkie Burping/Belching After Eating My 6 1/2 mo. old baby tends to make burping/belching noises after she eats. I've never had a dog do this before. Could something be wrong with her? Waiting on response to see if this needs to be a vet visit...

| I don't know if this is a problem or not. Personally, I would at least call the vet to ask about it. I'll also bump this post so others see it. Good luck!

| Thanks!!! Calling my vet now. She appears to be ok but this has me concerned. She's done it since I first got her but yesterday it was more than usual and she did eat alot.

| Does he eat her food real fast? If so, she could be getting a lot of air into her system which can at times cause this. But still better to call the Vet and see what they have to say.

| Vet told me it could be reversed sneeze. I will look this up on the net but since its happening mostly after she eats reversed sneezing doesn't sound right.

| Just wondering what are you feeding the dog and at what age did it all start?

| Callie does this everytime she eats!! As she is walking away from her bowl to the chair where I give her insulin injection, she always lets out this big burp! If we get to the chair and she hasn't burped yet, I ask her "Where is the burp?" . This happens with every meal! None of my other dogs do this, only little Callie! My kids think it is so funny!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | My Tuffy has done this since he was a pup. Every time he eats, he'll get a drink afterwards, walk away & let out "a big boy burp". Bella rarely burps which is weird to me since she's the one with an easily upset stomach. btw, Tuffy eats very slowly and Bella inhales her food.

| Mine always burps! I figure they're like people and just need to burp after eating.

| Sam belches like a truck driver after he eats, especially when he drinks a lot of water too. He just fits in with the rest of the family, lol.

| Thank you everyone!! At least now I know that my precious little girl isn't the only one that burps. I'll try slowing her down when she eats to see if that helps. Not that she bothers me doing this I just pray that there is nothing wrong. I guess burping just goes along with the rest of the cute lil nasty things she does.

| Lexi burps like a sailor. Usually after drinking, but sometimes after eating too.It is hard to believe something that loud can come from something so small. |
