| Help... Yorkie ate half an oreo :-/ I know it's been awhile but my sweet Bentley just robbed my little boy of half an oreo. It was split in half and no icing. It's the walmart brand of oreos and it was one side of it. He ate a whole bowl of dog food right after. He's acting fine. The only vet I trust (my vet) is visiting his daughter in Delaware. Will he be ok?!?! I'm freaking out.

| I think he'll be fine, as an oreo is a chocolate cookie, not plain chocolate. How nuch does Bentley weigh? Check here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/eme...eight-dog.html I'd say call an ER Vet and ask but I doubt they'll tell you anything over the phone.

He's around 12 lbs. He's a bigger guy ;-) He's snoring away. He hasn't had diarrhea. He ate his dog food and had water. I'm paranoid.

| I could call our vet on vacation, he is a family friend, but I don't want to bother him. I really think he'll be ok. But, the momma in me still needed to ask advice.

| He should be fine. My boy ate a whole chocolate bunny when he was a puppy and he was fine. He still has a love for chocolate, so I rarely bring it into the house because it's too risky for him. I would be more concerned about the fact that he snatched a cookie from a kid. That's very disrespectful behaviour in dogs and it would be a good idea to nip it in the bud with some training.

| He will be just fine! Not enough chocolate in the 1/2 Oreo to do him any harm. |
