Sunny D has a Stomach Tube

Pics of Sunny D from my visit with him yesterday. While he looks sad, he is definitely feeling better now that the tube is out of his nose. The morning update was that he is tolerating his tube feedings well. Will be visiting him later.

Sunny D is more than likely being discharged tomorrow!! Here is a pic of him with my George today when I was visiting the two of them...

Hee hee they have what I call "hobo legs" charlie had hobo legs when he had surgery last summer. when he was better i had to get him groomed so his legs would match

Haha...I always have called them "poodle legs" but I think hobo fits better.
Poor Sunny D ... all four match.

And, they wonder why he is now biting people in there. He has a "watch" sign now because he has been getting mighty ticked off at them. I think he has simply had it with the place..and with all of the pokes and other misc. hurts. He does like one of the techs really well...today when she came in the room to get him, he walked right over to her wagging his tail. The vet thinks he does not like men but I told her he has never been like this before. He is normally a very sweet, laid back pup with everyone, even my grandson. Poor baby has had it. Actually, the night before he went back he went after me.....he was hiding under the bed and completely out of sorts. I felt SO bad....it is so good to see him feeling better.

George is better, but still not great. He is still having a great deal of discomfort in his abdomen...and they are still not feeding him. He is getting IV nutritional support. She is pleased with his progress...he was brighter today, but still needs more time.

Oh, they are. The one vet told me yesterday and he laughed about it because he had made a comment one day about how sweet Sunny D is and how he would adopt him if he did not have so many pets already. When he laughed, I asked if he had changed his thoughts and he said of course not. They understand that what they do can be very hard on a pup.

I am glad to hear that, it really sounds like the place you go to is excellent with your babies. that is so important, to have a place you trust when your babies are in need of such care.

I am glad that Sunny D still continues to improve.

I don't blame him for wanting to bite people who have been poking and sticking him.
I can tell you I have felt that way many times, with my previous medical issues. LOL

Oh yes, I get it....I would have loved to have taken a chunk out of that asswipe radiologist last week who did those injections for that Sentinel node biopsy.

NEWS FLASH ON SUNNY D!! He actually ate some food this morning! They just called to verify the pick up time and gave me this awesome report!!! Leaving in a few to pick him up!!
