| Another ear infection for Dex! My poor little guy! He woke up this morning with another ear infection. Since we just went to the ER vet a month ago for that, I used the same meds on him this morning. By the time I left for work he had stopped shaking his head, but when his ears go up, that one does not. I don't know why this is happening. Neither of them ever had ear problems before! Maybe he's sympathizing with Mommy who has chronic ear infections, esp in the winter. I hope the meds work again as quickly as they did last time. Hubby is home with him today so he'll do more meds at 12, and again when I get home. Poor Dex!

| yeah he gets out outer ear infections... so do I. I know how he feels, it's sooo annoying and painful! The vet told me he was just a drama queen because it really was not that bad of an infection the last time I took him in, but the more I think about it. He was probably just bothered by it and the only way to show me was to keep shaking his head. He was whining and shaking his head, I do think he's got a lower pain threshold than my other boy because whenever he gets his shots, afterwards he practically SCREAMS in pain for the rest of the day. So now he gets a pain shot and a benedryl shot before he gets his vaccinations. Better that way!

| Hope your baby feels better soon! My Mugsy has his first ear infection right now. He's only 14 weeks old. When I took him to the vet, the poor young man who was the vet tech holding him didn't know quite how to take the whining - I don't know who was more upset - Mugsy or the tech. They can really cry, which i had never seen in a dog before I got my yorkie! The vet told me we caught it early. Mugsy has been on medication for 2 days now and he is feeling a lot better and almost back to his usual self. Karen |
