I need prayers for oliver! - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Hi all, I haven't been by in a while but I need many many prayers for my baby boy, Oliver. He was home with my husband last night while I was at an exercise class. Pita was on the sofa and Oliver was standing on the floor with his 2 front paws on the sofa. Pita ran towards him and knocked him over backwards. He hit the back of his head on our wood floor and immendiately went unconscious. My husband said he had a heartbeat but wasn't breathing so he gave him puffs of air. He rushed him to the vet, where I met him. They did xrays and he has no spinal injuries but major brain swelling. I went back to the vet this morning at 6:30am and he crashed right after I arrived. They performed CPR and brought him back. They believe that he aspirated at some point and now has fluid in his lungs. He is in wonderful hands and I wouldn't trust anyone else with him....all I can do is have faith at this point.

He is 7 months and only 3lbs. We are fighting a terrible battle right now with his little body. I am devasted and in shock. Please, we need as many prayers as we get. Thank you so much YT for your support.

Oh dear I am so sorry to hear about Oliver's accident. I will keep him and you in my thoughts and prayers today.
