| Poor Buddy is sick :( My little baby is sick. His nose is all blocked and his throat is sore. He keeps snorting and sniffing and you can really hear how blocked up he is. hes eating normally and in great form despite sneezing, snorting and sniffing a lot. I feel so bad, hate seeing him sick. starting his antiobiotic in the morning. Vet gave him an injection today. Its heartbreaking listening to him. Any tips on how to make him feel better? Hoping this goes away soon |

| Poor baby. . The antibiotic should kick in soon. I'm not sure if you can do anything else. But maybe someone here can give you better advice. Hope your baby feels better soon.

| You can put him in the bathroom for 10-15 minutes (no longer at one time) after someone takes a hot shower (or steam up the bathroom) but be careful and watch him... this can be done 3-4 times a day. Hope your little one feels better soon....

| I wondered about that. Or maybe one of the machines that do it? Is it a vaporizer?

| My vet said this was best, and warned against using a vaporizor when our Peek A Boo had pneumonia. I don't recall why though, lol. Getting older by the minute here!

| back for checkup Hi guys, went back to vet for check up this evening. He seemed happy with Buddy even tho he is still a little sick. Nose still blocked and is sleeping a lot. He is eating and drinking as much as normal. He is also doing so well with his potty training even the poor little pet is sick. I am going on holidays to New York on Friday and have to leave my baby with my mam, dad, sister and brother. I just pray he will be better by then because it will be so tough leaving him and even worse if he is sick Thanks for all your advice xxx Dee & Buddy |

| Hi everyone. i am just back from my holidays and found out that my little baby was very sick during the holiday while he was with my parents. Before i went i had him at the vet three times and the last time the vet said he was much happier with him....said he was much better. That evening i took him to my familys house. He was still coughing and still had blocked nose but had yet to finish the course of antibiotics. During the first week of my holiday Buddy got worse and his cough was very bad. He wasnt playing and was thrown down all of the time. My sister and brother looked after them during the day as they are on holidays from school and college. When he heard people coming into the room he didnt even look up. He was crying constantly and began vomiting everythin he ate and drank. My parents took him to their vet that they used before. the first thing the vet said was that he had worms when he held him. then he said the antiobiotic he was on was useless and it was for humans but would be of no use to Buddy. He said the eardrops i had been told to use on him were for old and large dogs and were too strong. He gave him an injection for his flu as it had developed into a chest infection. He also gave him a worm dose. He asked my parents to bring him back in again the following day. That evening Buddy passed a tape worm (even though my own vet had told me he had dosed him for worms). He got a second injection the following day to finally get rid of the chest infection....that evenin he was in great form and was playing and eating. My parents didnt want to tell me until i came home as they knew i would be very upset. Buddy is so much better now and is in great form |

| Oh my goodness! Thank goodness your parents took him in! Glad to hear he is doing better. But it sounds like you need to get a new vet!
